What Service is Right for You?

PREPARATION: All services begin with a dry manicure: The nails are trimmed and shaped, the cuticle area is prepped by gently pushing back the eponychium, and dead skin cells are removed from the nail plate using diamond nail bits. Any extra dead tissue that has lifted up is trimmed. If there is base gel left over from a previous manicure, lifted areas are removed, and the rest of the base gel is thinned. Then, nails are dehydrated and primed for best adherence of gels. All of these parts are performed with the foremost importance of preserving nail health.

Gel manicure Recommended for short to very short nails (edge of nail coming from the finger is 3mm long or less). A thin layer of base gel is applied to the nail plate followed by gel color and/or art then top gel. Nails will be strong but not too thick because of base gel application.

Structured manicure on natural nails Recommended for nails whose edge is 2mm or more. This add-on gives your nails more strength and less risk of splitting or breaking. The base gel is built up on specific stress points of the nail plate that will look natural and not bulky. This is a good service if you are looking to grow out or maintain nail length.

Gel overlay over natural nails Strongly recommended for nails whose edge is longer than 7mm. This is similar to a structured manicure, but a different type of harder builder gel is used to give more strength and durability needed. The nails are slightly thicker, but will look balanced with the length so the nails will not look hefty.

Extensions Unless this is a repair, this is no longer offered as a service. Repair may be done with Apres Gelx or built with builder gel on a form. No more than 4 repairs per appointment, please.
